Alana-Maria is pursuing her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Truett McConnell University in 2021. Alana-Maria has dedicated over three years to working in pediatrics, developing a deep passion for children's mental health. She is committed to teaching emotional regulation and coping skills, understanding their importance for a child's well-being. Alana-Maria aims to employ a holistic and strength-based approach to counseling, recognizing and nurturing each child’s unique abilities. She believes in the power of creative expression and incorporates activities that help children explore their emotions and build resilience.
Outside of her professional life, Alana-Maria enjoys homesteading, connecting with nature, and embracing sustainable living. She finds joy in making her own candles and soap, reflecting her love for creativity and self-sufficiency. These personal interests bring a sense of mindfulness and balance to her work with children and their families.
