Megan began her professional journey at Kennesaw State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, laying the foundation for her passion for mental health. She then continued her studies at Mercer University for a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Driven by a deep commitment to supporting others, Megan has always been dedicated to the well-being of children and families. Before transitioning into clinical practice, she worked alongside children and families for over 10 years in various roles, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the diverse challenges individuals face. This extensive background has provided her with the skills and flexibility to work effectively with clients of all ages and backgrounds, and to address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.

Megan approaches therapy with a deep sense of compassion and a collaborative mindset, believing that the strength of the therapeutic relationship is key to fostering growth and healing. She is committed to creating a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel truly heard, understood, and supported. Megan tailors her therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, recognizing that every person’s journey is different. She draws from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, as well as play therapy and creative expression, to help clients connect with their emotions, explore their inner world, and ultimately heal. By incorporating these diverse methods, Megan aims to empower her clients to discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness and resilience.
